The number of the variety of wild roses changes depending on the interpretation of the term [ wild ], but Japan is said to have more than 14 varieties among 100to 200 varieties that exist around the world. This means that one tenth of the world's wild rose varieties are native to Japan. Wild roses unique to Japan are grown in this area.
